Deal’s Orchard

Experience the magic of an Iowa fall at Deal’s Orchard, a family-owned farm near Jefferson where more than a century of apple-growing tradition meets plenty of seasonal fun. Since 1917, five generations of the Deal family have welcomed visitors to the orchard, creating a destination that celebrates agriculture, family, and the simple traditions that make fall in rural Iowa special.

Pick apples straight from the tree, wander through the pumpkin patch, take a hayride, get lost in the corn maze, or spend the day exploring more than 25 family-friendly activities in Apple Acres. Then stop by the Apple Barn for fresh cider, cider donuts, homemade pie, caramel apples, and other orchard favorites. From colorful flower fields in early fall to pumpkins and crisp apples as the season unfolds, Deal’s Orchard offers plenty of reasons to make a fall road trip to Jefferson.
