Elangeni Farm

Coming Soon:

Tucked into the rolling countryside of Johnson County, Elangeni Farm is a place where sustainable agriculture and nature go hand in hand. The name Elangeni means “a place in the sun,” and that’s exactly how this peaceful farm feels…a quiet retreat where visitors can slow down, explore, and connect with the land.

The farm is home to organic aronia berries, a flock of Dorper sheep, honey bees, restored prairie, woodlands, and scenic ponds that support an abundance of wildlife. Since purchasing the property in 2008, the owners have planted thousands of trees, restored native habitats, and created a landscape that reflects their commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable farming.

Elangeni is also looking toward the future. Plans are underway for agritourism experiences including farm tours, educational opportunities, outdoor events, and a beautiful event space overlooking a spring-fed stream and pond. As the farm continues to grow, visitors will have even more opportunities to experience this unique corner of rural Johnson County.

Whether you’re interested in learning more about organic farming, supporting local agriculture, or simply enjoying the beauty of the countryside, Elangeni Farm is a destination worth keeping on your radar as it continues to grow.
